According to police sources, one squad of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department police officers assigned to the Convention Center Area Command ran an alleged illegal police operation that targeted citizens on the Las Vegas Strip based solely on their appearance and then provoked them into committing an altercation and or disturbance so they could make arrests.

FRANKIE ZAPPIA, LAST KNOWN PERSON TO SEE VEGAS MURDER VICTIMS ALIVE, ARRESTED IN TN FOR THEFT

**September 6, 2023. Frankie Zappia, a convicted prostitute and stepdaughter of retired Las Vegas Metro Police Officer Daniel 'Dano' Giersdorf was arrested on August 30, 2023, in Chattanooga, TN. and charged with theft of property, a firearm. Zappia was the last known person to see Sydney Land and Nehemiah Kauffman alive on the night of October 25, 2016. On October 27, 2016, Land and Kauffman were both found shot in the head in their Southwest Las Vegas apartment. The murders are unsolved.
