Wednesday October 26, 2022. Las Vegas Metro Police Officer Phil Closi, 48, passed away on August 11, 2021, from complications of Covid-19. Officer Closi was a 21-year member of the department. Las Vegas Metro Police Sgt. Douglas King, 36, passed away on August 23, 2021, from complications of Covid-19. Sgt. King was a 17-year member of the department. On Tuesday October 25, their widows Cinnamon King and Jenn Closi spoke at the Faith Organizing Alliance in Las Vegas.
