EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: LVMPD OFFICER FIRED LIVE ROUND DURING TRAINING EXERCISE

**EXCLUSIVE. Monday July 24, 2023.** According to police sources, last week a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) officer fired a live round during a MACTAC training exercise held at the LVMPD Reality-Based Training Center. Sources say the officer thought that his firearm was unloaded when he pulled the trigger. Other officers who were in close proximity fortunately were not hit by the live round. The LVMPD Internal Affairs Bureau (IAB) has an investigation ongoing. -- In an unrelated incident, sources say that on Sunday evening, July 23, a newly promoted lieutenant had an accidental/negligent firing of her service firearm. IAB also conducting investigation into this incident. Updates will follow.
